Position Summary:
Facilitate cross functional activities in the areas of planning, governance, process management, project management, and communication. Including the facilitation of SOX coordination for IPG IT and IPG independent agencies, process improvements audit remediation (SLAs, DR, etc.) and oversight of the IT chargeback process. Program management includes IPG IT sponsored projects with a focus on interdependencies with other services (EIS, EAS, Finance, HR, etc.). Communication includes management of the IPG IT intranet portal and internal IPG documentation and publications.
Essential Functions:
Provide project/program management work cross functionally within IPG to meet project time, cost and scope objectives.
Define project charters and objectives, project participants, and timeframes to realize the project’s objectives.
Apply effective and efficient coordination with EIS, EAS, Finance, HR and other IT business partners to ensure dependencies are defined and issues and risks are escalated or mitigated.
Understand the specifics of all the project activities being coordinated.
Provide communication services, design, organize and manage the Global IT CIO web portal and information sharing platform to provide accurate and timely information for the entire IPG IT community and support IT staff with relevant IT subject matter.
Provide support for SOX Compliance, establish relationships and work closely with IT Internal Audit, IPG IT BISO, IT Compliance, Regional IT leads, Independent Agency CIOs, and IPG IT Leads. Communicate effectively with supported entities IT liaisons.
Review management’s narratives, completing questionnaires, and testing evidence.
Track, test and support the remediation efforts for identified control deficiencies.
Manage/maintain agency contacts, controls, and issues within the Corporate SOX Coordinator Website.
Participate in IT Controls and Tester training sessions and Method and Procedure Guide Reviews.
Assist with responding to IT compliance requests or inquiries from agencies.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree, and 2-4 years of relevant experience managing projects of medium complexity
Proven experience with Business Analysis and Project Management Methodologies.
Experience in partnering with IT teams from different disciplines in a combined effort to achieve project success.
Working knowledge and experience with IT industry control standards such as ITIL, ISO, CIS and COBIT
Understanding of IT infrastructure, development processes, analysing metric related data and associated IT controls required to support a fully functioning and controlled IT environment.
IT governance, IT audit, risk, compliance-related experience strongly desired
Candidate must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving and communication (written and oral) skills.
Strong Microsoft O365 skills required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel [pivot tables & V-lookups], Teams, etc.)
