KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director in Financial Risk Management - Operations Risk for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
Lead business development efforts for the firm’s primary target clients to provide services around operational risk
Provide a key role for KPMG thought leadership efforts by contributing professional articles to industry publications, writing white papers on operational risk issues and developments and speaking at outside seminars on current safety and soundness as well as compliance issues
Direct and support proposal and business development activities by identifying the firm’s new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing and presenting proposals
Lead recruiting and retention efforts to develop the practice
Qualifications:
Fifteen plus years of operational risk experience at large or mid-size institution and/or similar experience as an advisory professional
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Excellent business development and presentation skills
Previous management responsibilities and project management experience
Ability to travel out-of-town up to eighty percent of the time
Established network of industry contacts and business development opportunities
