You will:
Understand industry best practices of core sales operations functions including territory design & planning, comp design, quota setting, and business analytics. Incorporate learnings into building complex forecasting models and making actionable proposals.
Develops and performs reporting and analysis for Sales including executive reporting of sales results, key metrics and KPIs, campaign tracking and analysis, segment performance, pipeline management, and ad hoc strategic analysis.
Prepares pipeline and broader sales and market analysis focusing on lead indicators of future revenue performance to help the VP of Sales make decisions to improve sales productivity and business outcomes.
Assists the business in making data driven decisions through standard operations reviews and ad hoc analyses.
Partner closely with sales leadership to develop actionable, measurable projects and programs that accelerate sales growth and improve sales rep’s productivity.
Perform deep analyses on the leading, in-process, and lagging indicators to support strategic initiatives to drive growth.
Pro-actively identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Makes recommendations related to processes, workflows, or system requirements that impact the business.

Reporting Relationships
This position reports to the Program Manager, Sales & Service who, in turn, reports to the Vice President of Sales & Service, ReedGroup.
Qualifications
You have:
Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. Equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Four to Six (4-6) years of financial or sales analysis/operations experience
Technical experience in the following areas is required:
Expert Microsoft Excel and Access skills
Exposure to Salesforce.com or similar CRM required.
Systems and operations: identifying and implementing improvements in current workflows and processes that can help improve efficiency and visibility - this might be in Salesforce.com or other tools.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence co-workers from multiple departments, and to communicate with sales executives.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data. Ability to convert large volume of data into actionable info.
A proven track record of solving complex problems, driving initiatives cross functionally, and clear ability to explain complex concepts to audiences in a simplistic way.
High degree of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong self-direction and initiative; willingness and ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities.
Desire to drive process improvements with attention to details.
Ability to correlate results from data analysis to sales processes to surface insights and support business decisions.
Travel
Occasional travel to ReedGroup or Guardian offices (0-10%)
