Senior Software Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team working on enterprise network security software and services aimed at detecting the next generation of malware threats.
In this role, you will be responsible for improving the current iteration of our Enterprise Malware Analysis platform as well as helping to design and implement new cloud-based Threat Intelligence services. The ideal candidate will have experience working on security software, however, we are open to candidates with strong software development experience that have an interest in cyber security. Experience working with microservices and containerized applications is also desirable as you will be helping to implement new detection capabilities in the cloud.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years of software development experience
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong skills in Python and at least one other language
Understanding of development on Linux
Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired Skills :
Programming skills in any of the following: Golang, C/C++, Rust, shell scripting
Knowledge of Linux platforms
Experience with virtual machines
Knowledge of SQL and database platforms
Building and consuming RESTful APIs and gRPC/protobuf interfaces
Elasticsearch and Kibana
Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Background in cyber security, malware analysis, reverse engineering
