OVERVIEW:
The Corp Dev Program Manager will work closely with the Integration Management Team Leaders and a broader stakeholder group. This group includes leaders across many business functions, who actively develop, execute, and lead the integration plans for individual acquisitions both pre and post close. This role will report into the Integration Management Office within NCR’s Office of Corporate Development. The Corp Dev Program Manager will be responsible for managing the program logistics, charting progress against plan, driving action items, and reporting on program status. Owning and resolving issues that go across multiple functions and bringing best practices to the Integration Program Management Office (PMO) are representative responsibilities.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Participates in the development, execution, maintenance, and communication of the respective integration master project plan and all related documentation
Directs and/or provides oversight to cross-functional teams; ensuring the development, evaluation and/or review of project plans and criteria
Establishes and continually manages program expectations with team members; including proactively managing changes in program scope, identifying/escalating issues (as needed), and devising contingency plans to ensure delivery on and/or execution of business case objectives
Monitors overall program milestones and the execution of the program against established timelines, communicates dependencies across programs, and provides accurate & timely program/project status to Integration Leads and related stakeholders
Gathers input/feedback, identifies/assesses program issues/risks, prepares notes, and submits recommendations to eliminate or mitigate the occurrence of consequences that may impact the success of the program and meet productivity, quality, and program goals and objectives
Maintains reporting relationships with Integration stakeholders (i.e., Integration Management Team Leaders, workstream leaders and team members, executives, acquired company employees, and other affected parties) to coordinate efforts, resolve conflicts, and ensure continuous efficient management of integration programs/projects.
Implements processes and/or procedures to fulfill program objectives, criteria, and deliverables.
Informs, alerts, negotiates, and maintains a shared vision and strong, positive working relationships.
Develops metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of end-to-end program processes and control
REQUIREMENTS:
6+ years of general business experience in Fortune 500 companies
3+ years of successful program management experience leading large complex programs
Bachelor’s degree
Exceptional program management skills, the ability to track and manage complex programs, and a desire to lead multiple teams and multiple programs
Experience managing large programs through a PMO structure or supporting a PMO as a workstream lead
Demonstrated track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and relationship building
Ability to indirectly influence and/or lead cross-organizational and/or cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with stressful situations
Strong negotiation, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills
High level of maturity and diplomacy and ability to see and rationalize multiple points of view
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a diverse leadership team
Ability to understand technical concepts quickly
Experience using one or more M&A/program management software tools to develop execution plans, milestone roadmaps, status updates, and dependency trackers (e.g. Devensoft)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel/Access (Pivot tables; V-look ups; creation of formulas), Word, and Outlook
EVEN BETTER WITH...
MBA or other advanced technical degree
Experience with managing multiple complex initiatives within the complete M&A life cycle
Experience in the Hospitality, Retail, or Fintech Industries
Experience with a M&A workflow tool, such as Midaxo, Devensoft, or EKNOW
