Agency Sales promotes Stewart services and solutions through various sales and marketing activities designed to ensure independent agent success while maximizing Stewart revenue and market share.

Highly motivated, sales leader responsible for the promotion and sales of Stewart Agency products and services. Plans, develops and executes strategic sales plans and initiatives to drive business, grow market share and achieve targets.  Utilizes comprehensive knowledge and deep subject matter expertise of Stewart's Agency products and services, competitor offerings and industry insights to provide guidance to independent Agents and demonstrate how Stewart can better enable their business.  Accountable for operational and financial performance.

Establishes sales objectives and goals aligned to overall division strategies and initiatives
Develops and executes sales strategies, tactics and plans to promote and sell Stewart Agency products and services in an assigned region
Reports on sales activities and results to sales leadership
Meets or exceeds sales objectives and goals set for the region
Assesses individual agency needs; develops, presents and implements a plan to meet those needs
Focuses on growing revenue and increasing profitability of new and existing agency relationships by providing excellent customer service and building long-term customer relationships
Analyzes agency performance metrics, develops and executes targeted strategy to improve profitability
Analyzes industry data and trends, identifies growth opportunities and develops and executes strategic, long-term plan to grow market share and improve overall profitability of the agency network
Monitors quality of service provided and makes necessary changes to improve customer satisfaction
Develops and maintains quality Agent relationships that meet Stewart's Independent Agency Standards 
Provides guidance on relevant licensing and regulations to ensure compliance with Stewart's Independent Agency Standards
Provides updates on new and improved products and services
Plans and facilitates customer events, seminars and trainings
Promotes Stewart's local and national webinars
Maintains up-to-date, authoritative knowledge of Stewart products/services, competitor practices and industry trends
Answers highly complex inquiries related to Stewart Agency resources, policies, rates and state and federal laws and regulations
Completes due diligence and investigation to qualify new agencies; determines whether or not to approve
Instructs prospective agencies on application submittal
Ensures new agencies are setup and onboarded to Stewart platforms
Conducts informational sessions/trainings on Stewart resources for new agencies
Facilitates introduction of new agencies to legal and underwriting personnel
Reviews and completes any Agency Agreement modifications
Evaluates risks to determine if remediation or cancellation is necessary
Develops Audit Response Plan to minimize liability or exposure when needed
Utilizes CRM to input and maintain agency information within sales territory
Conducts quarterly agency visitations for all agencies in assigned territory
Completes annual policy inventory reconciliations for all agencies in assigned territory
Ensures timely receipt of policies/premiums due from agencies
Delivers audit reports and develops audit response plan if needed
Identifies risks and develops action plan to minimize exposure/liability; escalates to management when needed
Fosters a collaborative sales culture
Promotes benefits and value of relevant Stewart products and services
Represents Stewart at industry networking events
Performs other duties as assigned by management

 Qualifications
 

Requires broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge techniques and/or technologies

Provides direction within area of expertise to contributes to body of knowledge, strategy and business results
Recognized as "guru" or external thought leader within a strategic organization function or discipline
Influences internal/external business and/or regulatory issues that have significant business impact
Leads highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives critical to the organization's strategic goals
Provides thought leadership and/or develops innovative products or service
Impacts business strategy
Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems
Creates ground-breaking solutions beyond what currently exists
Influences decisions through negotiations with senior management, customers, regulators or vendors
Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
Typically requires 10+ years of related work experience
