Location:

We are looking for qualified candidates based in the Houston, TX area / Webster, TX area to join our ChemCare team.

Primary Purpose:

Provide sales support link between the Project Managers, Sales, Operations, & Business Services for the ChemCare Project Team.

Responsible to the Industrial Services Manager, and in coordination with the ChemCare Project Managers, Safety, Account Managers, & Customer Service for developing, implementing and monitoring projects, team goals and performance.

Responsible for understanding the regulatory complexities and process technologies that enable ChemCare services to add value to our customers and partner TSDFs (Treatment Storage Disposal Facilities).

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

* Supports the development and generation of projects and ChemCare activities within the specified area by serving as a resource for completing project estimates, customer price quotations, job order records, and other necessary documents in support of the ChemCare project team goals.
* Provides support to the gulf coast project managers with respect to the hazardous waste industry, competition, partner capabilities, cost, & pricing.
* Work with and provide project support to our sales representatives through joint calls.
* Advise and inform contractors, project managers, account managers, and ChemCare Leadership of status and process quotes for projects.
* Develop and maintain contractor partner relationships and serve as a liaison to involve contractor partners with projects.

Problem Solving

Routine:

* Prioritizing work activities to concentrate on those things most critical to servicing the gulf coast project teams needs.

Difficult:

* Identifying potential problems and notifying the necessary individual to take the appropriate action to resolve and prevent the problem
* Scheduling limited resources under rigid and aggressive timelines

Interface:

The ChemCare Field Technician will interact with the following groups / teams: Industrial Services Manager, ChemCare Regional Manager, Account Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Contractors, TSDF Partners, Branch/Regulatory Department, etc.

Decision-Making Authority:

* Issues directly related to quoting, order entry, project documentation & contractor oversight.

Managerial/Supervisory Responsibility:

None

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

* Strong organizational and communication skills. Communication includes both written and verbal.
* Persistent in following up detailed issues to conclusion.
* Works well under pressure and deadlines.
* Ability to manage wide range of detail oriented work activities.
* Teamwork - understand the need for continuous communication between Sales, ChemCare Coordinators and Project Team
* Experience dealing with contractors, both internal and external, and partners at various levels of the organization.
* Knowledge of waste disposal industry (TSDF network and disposal technologies) with an understanding of the EPA codes, RCRA regulations, and related DOT shipping requirements.
* Understanding of regulations (i.e., RCRA, DOT, EPA, HM-181, State and Local).
* Knowledge of partner capabilities.
* Experience and success developing and executing a project plan or strategy. This can be at the individual territory level.
* PC experience to create spreadsheets and update database. Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Salesforce/Field FSL knowledge needed for daily transactions.
* Oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate throughout the organization.
* Success in managing a sales/telesales territory within our industry.

Education/Training:

* 4-year college degree preferred, or equivalent related work experience
* Minimum 3 years experience in sales support, customer service or project support work.
* Waste Industry experience preferred.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

* Limited travel to customer sites/facilities.
* Potentially hazardous substances may be present at customer sites.
