Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Controls Engineers who will have responsibility for developing, implementing and maintaining equipment standards. Responsibilities include:
* Design control systems for complex automated systems from the ground up, including developing panel layouts, power distribution and controls wiring diagrams, PLC programs and HMI programs
* Will work closely and should be very familiar with Allen Bradley and Control Logix PLC's and Allen Bradley Panel View and Panel View Plus HMI's
* A background in both manufacturing and process controls along with a strong understanding of instrumentation, analog signaling and basic electronics would be very helpful
Basic Requirements
* Bachelor's degree
* At least 5 years of product manufacturing experience
OR
* Master's degree
* At least 3 years of product manufacturing experience
OR
* At least 7 years of product manufacturing experience
Additional Requirements
* Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
