What your day in this role might involve at OC-Charleston:

Warehouse Associate positions are an integral part of our Charleston team, involved in daily processes and successful outcomes for our facility and its customers. This position works closely with teammates at multiple levels with all aspects of inventory management and logistics (receiving, counting, storing, loading, unloading) in a manner adhering to company safety and operational procedures.

What makes a successful OC-Charleston team member:

Must haves include

* High school diploma or GED
* At least 18 years old
* Being able to:
* Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
* Work safely and follow all plant rules
* Show initiative, be a self-starter
* Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
* Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
* Perform basic math
* Demonstrate basic computer/keyboard skills
* Demonstrate safe forklift operations

Would be terrific if you also had

* Experience with
* Manufacturing or industrial setting
* SAP, Microsoft Applications

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

* Stand or sit for 8 - 12 hours straight
* Climb on/off a forklift for up to 12 hours continuously
* Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role
* Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 40-pounds)
* Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
* Handle, control and feel raw materials and finished goods
