What's the role?

Were looking for an experienced JS engineer to help us build the next generation of financial planning tools for our clients. The role requires an agile engineering mindset, patience and persistence to solve complex problems, ability to get things done quickly but thoughtfully, and strong technical skills. Do you enjoy coding? Do you read tech blogs in your spare time? Then we want to hear from you!

What are we looking for?

* Technical excellence: JS expertise (Node, React), HTML/CSS mastery, competency with CSS-in-JS (styled-components, emotion) and build tools (Webpack, Parcel).

* Effective communicator: can easily explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

* Team player: brings out the best in fellow engineers and plays well with product owners and designers.

* Strong sense of ownership: takes pride in their craft and responsibility for issues that may arise.

* Nice to haves: background with large enterprise projects, interest in mentoring junior engineers, familiarity with analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, New Relic, Heap), understanding of Docker & Kubernetes, implementations of GraphQL server and client.

* Experience: 1-3 years
