2nd shift: 3pm 11pm, Monday -Friday (weekend work may be required based on production schedule and projects)

Starting Pay: $20.50 - $21.75/hr, +$0.60 Shift Differential

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains tool room equipment regarding plates, knives and blades; performs routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and physical structures, and on the plumbing, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems; Ensures safe and optimum functioning equipment; systems, and processes (65%).

Performs set up/tear down of process equipment daily (25%)

Facility rounds to inspect and record various repairs needed (5%).

Inspects facility safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems to insure compliance is always maintained (5%).

Will be required to work with and develop equipment and ideas deemed to be confidential information and/or trade secrets owned by the company. This person will be required to protect the company's rights in and ownership of those trade secrets and confidential information

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Mechanical and electrical aptitude, as demonstrated by aptitude and/or skills assessment, required.

One-year experience in facility maintenance and repair preferred.

Familiarity with forklift, skid loaders, and similar equipment a plus.

Requires basic math, reading, and writing skills, manual dexterity, and ability to maintain a

rapid pace for extended periods.

Self-motivation and team attitude essential.

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and have the physical ability to do the following tasks for extended periods of times: standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing up steps and using ladders.

Able to work in loud and hot and cold environments.

Willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required

Must have a valid drivers license.
