JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Manage the team and process for creating the communicating the sales and load forecasts for the regulated Operating Companies
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop the Utility long-term sales (GWh) forecast including detail at the Operating Company level, customer class level, and monthly level
2. Develop the Utility long-term hourly load (MW) forecasts for each Operating Company as well as regional load forecasts to support regional planning efforts
3. Conduct econometric and macro-economic analysis and research to support development of sales and load forecasts
4. Develop analysis and witness testimony in support of rate cases, resource plans, requests for new generation assets, and other regulatory efforts for the OpCos
5. Interact with senior executives to develop and communicate Utility and OpCo points-of-view and provide input into strategic and financial planning
6. Develop and improve processes, models, and methods for forecasting, analyzing, and reporting sales and load
7. Analyze actual sales results to determine drivers of variance from forecast
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
BS/BA in a technical field such as Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or equivalent work experience
Minimum experience required of the position
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience

* Ability to function and perform effectively as a manager and supervisor
* Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of others
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with co-workers from staff level to senior management
* General understanding of the gas and power industry
* Ability to analyze multiple data sources and summarize in a cohesive and succinct narrative
* Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
