In this role as the Senior Project Manager, Internal Audit, you will support the Director, Internal Audit to oversee the success of the Banks Remediation projects, ensuring the Bank is delivering its regulatory commitment to address Regulatory recommendations. You will be responsible for providing project management oversight, project planning, and managing the delivery of large projects in a fast-paced environment.

Is this role right for you? You will be responsible for:

* Developing project plans to determine timeline, project structure and implementation strategies, to identify and mitigate project risks
* Planning and assessing staffing requirements to ensure accurate resourcing coverage within project budget
* Review workload on a regular basis to allocate resources to support Audit testing
* Create and review project status and reporting with Audit Senior Management team
* Manage interaction with key stakeholders in the project, ensuring effective communication
* Lead the day-to-day activities and operation with project staff to outline work plans, to assign responsibilities and to actively monitor the delivery of project
* Effectively manage conflicts, difficult conversations, and ensure timely resolution of issues that could impact project success

Do you have the skills you need to succeed? We'd love to work with you, if you have:

* A minimum of 5 years of project delivery experience in a financial institution / services environment, experience in Regulatory risk management; with minimum 2 years management consulting firm experience strongly preferred;
* Extensive relationship management skill is essential, to drive by collective success in a team environment
* Expert problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
* Strong stakeholder management skills; be able to communicate directly and effectively.
* A continuous improvement mindset: capable to review end-to-end processes and identify opportunities for improvement will help better support the team
* A Master's degree in business administration or similar field preferred
* Experience in capital markets regulatory initiatives project management (preferred)
