Basic Function
Maintain product flow throughout production processes, insuring that organizational procedures, protocols, and policies are followed in regards to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Roles & Responsibilities
What
1) Follow and participate in the HSE initiatives/programs at JKO.
How Measured
Understand and support JKOs commitment to Goal Zero
Proper use of all PPE.
Follow all safety protocols.
Perform BOLD observations
Perform JTAs
Report all near misses and incidents.
No recordables.
Identify potential safety issues and turn into UT/ FLS.
What
2) Follow and support the Quality initiatives/ programs at JKO.
How Measured
Understand and fill out all quality documentation regarding production operations.
Understand and comply with work instructions and work orders.
Ensure raw materials match batch information
Fill out Railcar/ Bulk Truck checklists as required
Properly document and label production box runs.
Coordinate with Lab Technicians to insure product being ran meets and maintains specifications.

3) Support JKO through operational discipline and personal growth
How Measured
Develop growth plan with FLS.
Certify in 3 job skills.
Understand and suggest improvements to processes.
Foster open environment, communicating with Supervisor and Utility Techs often.
Follow procedures as written and trained.
Knowledge share with other operators.
Work with personnel from other departments to identify gaps and opportunities to improve.

4) Insure KPI targets and goals are achieved, Scrap/ Off spec, OEE, Rate Attainment, Reliability through uptime/ Availability
How Measured
Understand KPI targets that insure JKO meets organizational plan.
Follow production processes regarding purging and cleaning to reduce off specification material/ scrap.
Insure Rate Attainment, running equipment at optimum condition to yield best results for JKO.
Service equipment as required/trained to prevent downtime issues.
When downtime occurs, help maintenance in safe and productive way that insures KPI recovery.
Insure that available time is optimally utilized to insure best OEE performance.

5.) Be a good tenant of the work place and environment
How Measured
Understand and support JKO commitment to a clean environment through Operation Clean Sweep.
Identify and correct spills of raw or finished materials to prevent entry into plants waste streams.
Properly clean equipment and work areas to prevent pellet entry into waste streams.
Follow all housekeeping rules and guidelines to insure safe, clean, and effective work spaces.
Communicate any material spills to UT and FLS immediately for containment and clean up.
Min. Qualifications
Education:
Prefer High School diploma or GED.
Work Experience:
3-5 years of manufacturing experience.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to work a 12 hour rotating shift (days and nights).
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to climb heights work from multiple levels
Must be able to tolerate a working environment with inside ambient temperatures, including excessive heat and cold.
Requires (Near/Far/Color/Depth) vision to drive forklift, work at control panel and identify material warning labels and other product labels.
Requires tolerance of standing posture up to (10hr.), over (12 hr.).

The incumbent participates in the LyondellBasell commitment to the HSE policy and ISO14001 through an awareness of and adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental programs, together with management of environmental aspects of plant performance and all HSE aspects of departmental performance. The incumbent uses safe work practices, participates in safety meetings and advises his/her supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
