Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Science Intern for employment in the Greenville, SC office.

This position is expected to begin in May 2021.

About DCSAEnvironment

With world class technical expertise, leading edge technology and innovative project delivery capability around the world, AECOMs global environmental practice helps industry and government meet their business goals to achieve compliance, reduce or eliminate risks and manage impacts. We provide advisory and technical services to help clients cleanup and close contaminated sites and surplus operational facilities and restore them for reuse, plan and permit new facilities, address critical climate change issues, restore habitats and water quality, protect natural and cultural resources, maintain compliance, and cost effectively manage residuals and wastes.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

* Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional

* Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

* Supporting field surveys

* Data Management

* Report Preparation

Minimum Requirements

* Currently in pursuit of a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science or related field

* Must have completed 3 years of study

* U.S. citizenship required

* Valid U.S. driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
