Position: Project Manager (DevOps/Agile)

A global company is seeking to hire a consultant for a long-term contract. Although this is a contract role, the average consultant is on project 6+ years.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Support multiple projects in the Auto Applications area (APEX 2.0, HALO, etc)
• Manage multiple medium to large sized, complex Application projects
• Forecast, plan and manage budget/schedule to ensure project is on track
• Organize and facilitate meetings and workshops
• Create and manage change requests, test plans and trainings
• Report on project status (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Create project & upper level management presentations
• Analyze and manage project risks/issues
• Create RFP and conduct vendor selection
• Manage vendors and project resources

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Resume must reflect this experience)
• 5+ years of Applications Development Project Management, managing project plans, monitoring/reporting progress, resource usage, budgets and risk
• Experience managing application development projects for Agile and DevOps
• Experience conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified
• Experience develop business cases and document project goals, required tasks and resources
• Experience using various project tools, such as Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint and MS Project or Clarity/Open Workbench
• Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and processes
• Must have a stable work history, working in a similar role
• Must have EXCELLENT oral communication skills
• Education: Bachelors Degree

Desired Skills:
• Automotive industry experience
• Business System Analyst or application development experience is a plus.
