Northrop Grumman is seeking an energetic candidate that is eager to fulfill a challenging role as an Avionics Field Support Representative (FSR) for the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye enabling the fleet to maintain operational readiness to meet worldwide challenges.

Job Description:

The Avionics FSR provides daily support to the customer providing technical advice, training, and troubleshooting assistance to organizational level technicians and maintenance leadership for operation and repair of the avionics systems in the Advanced Hawkeye. Working daily with the customer to identify and solve complex problems in the challenging environment of organizational level squadron maintenance, a Northrop Grumman FSR collaborates with other teammates and has reach-back to engineering for problem analysis and resolution. Field Support Representatives provide instruction, training, liaison, problem reporting and technical advice using logic and reasoning to identify causes of system discrepancies and provide the customer with solutions.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on the qualifications listed below.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications for Field Support Req 3 are: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Basic Qualifications for Field Support Req 4 are: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 6 years of relevant experience.

- Must have an active secret DoD clearance with ability to maintain

- Current have ability to obtain a valid passport and maintain

- Knowledge of the structured English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar to enable effective written and oral communication with supervisors, peers, and maintenance personnel at various levels of seniority

- General knowledge of electronic equipment principles including radio frequency, computer, and data bus systems

- Ability Interpret test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems

- Ability to travel, both foreign and domestic, with customer when required including shipboard deployments

- Ability to work flexible schedule to accommodate customer maintenance requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with E-2D Advanced Hawkeye avionics systems trouble shooting and repair

- Experience with use and interpretation of aircraft system data such as Aircraft Logistics Environment (ALE) to diagnose malfunctions and identify systemic performance problems in conjunction with technical data found on a Portable

Electronic Maintenance Aid (PEMA) system
