Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA Rancho Carmel campus with travel to Spectrum Campus. This position supports all program(s) as it relates to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: managing the construction, modification, management and maintenance of DoD closed areas; maintaining access controls including administering UL2050 certified alarm systems, maintaining access lists, maintaining badge access and combination locks; performing control and accountability for classified material; reviewing classified documents for proper markings and assisting other personnel with understanding and applying proper classification markings; processing incoming and outgoing classified visit authorizations; providing all manner of required security education and awareness activities to include providing verbal briefings (both in virtual and in-person settings); reviewing DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD-254) for accuracy and business impact; performing subject interviews associated with the investigation of security incidents.

This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

Bachelors and 3 years of security or related experience or 1 with MS Degree; 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.

Active Secret clearance.

Ability to travel to other sites.

Prior knowledge and experience with the DoD 5220-22.M (NISPOM), and/or related U.S. Government guidance.

Must have the ability to support fast-paced, high profile programs.

Must be able to develop, maintain and leverage positive working relationships with internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications for a level 3:

Bachelors and 6 years of security or related experience or 4 with MS Degree; 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.

Active Secret clearance.

Ability to travel to other sites.

Prior knowledge and experience with the DoD 5220-22.M (NISPOM), and/or related U.S. Government guidance.

Must have the ability to support fast-paced, high profile programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include knowledge and experience with the administration of Special Access Program (SAP) activities, including knowledge of the DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4.
