Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for an Administrative Assistant 3 to support our Global Supply Chain group at our Redondo Beach, CA location.
Essential functions consist of:
* Communicating with administrative, customer and management personnel to gather or convey relevant information
* Coordinating internal and external management meetings
* Responsible for maintaining managements schedule and coordinating management/leads meetings
* Coordinating calendars, extensive, frequently changing travel arrangements, expense reports and all forms of correspondence
* Providing support to management team, including scheduling internal and external meetings
* Responsible for new team-member onboarding administration (adding team-members to shared database accesses and coordinating attendance in program onboarding/training sessions
* Event planning for management team
* Office seating move request coordination with facilities and associated departments
* Executing daily file transfers to the program computer system
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in an administrative assistant role including supporting managers and directors
* Experience in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
* Experience in business and travel expense system (Concur, Edge, or similar) with complex, frequently travel changing
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to exercise sound judgment while demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, and providing excellent follow-through
* Demonstrated verbal, interpersonal and written communications skills
* Successful experience working collaboratively as a team player with the ability to interface effectively at all levels in the organization
* Ability to be collaborative, proactive, self-motivated, well organized, detail oriented, and assertive as necessary and able to execute projects and tasks independently
* Experience in iBuy and office related purchasing
* Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality
