Essential Functions:

The successful applicant will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing robust and sustainable operations / technical training and employee development programs across the division. Job duties include interfacing with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Creating and providing New Hire training and onboarding
* Key User / Administrator of GLX ndash; LMS Software
* Partnering with area leaders to ensure compliance to required training
* Preparing and delivering front-line supervisor training and resource materials
* Developing, coordinating, and conducting operations / technical training workshops ndash; both in-person and via technology avenues
* Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
* Designing, developing, and delivering employee development workshops ndash; including leadership development courses
* Participating and supporting industry and government partnerships for composite technology programs
* May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor rsquo; s degree and at least 5 years of progressive experience in an Operations / Production role with accountability for training / teaching production employees (preferably in a leadership role) OR 3 years with Master rsquo;s degree
* Highly proficient with MS Office ndash; specifically Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Word
* Experience preparing training materials using innovative approaches ( a sample will be requested as part of the interview process)
* Well Organized and Detail-oriented
* Ability to work independently and self - motivated
* Experience leading and managing projects
* Ability to support travel to division locations in Ohio and Mississippi; est. 10% travel
* Familiar with training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes (preferred)
* Experience with GLX- LMS software/WorkDay (preferred)
* Experience preparing / reviewing / implementing Standard Work Instructions (preferred)
* Local candidates strongly preferred
