Northrop Grumman Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an opening for a Manager, General Manufacturing 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Chandler, AZ and will provide functional leadership for the Avionics test area.
* Facilitates the achievement of production goals by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
* Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
* Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
* Maintains quality standards by establishing and enforcing organization quality objectives.
* Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor rsquo;s Degree and 5 years rsquo; technical manufacturing experience, or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years rsquo; technical manufacturing experience
* 2 years leadership experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor 39;s Degree in a related discipline.
* Experience with testing of electronic assemblies.
* Experience with environmental testing.
