Description

The Manager, Business Development 3 identifies and implements business development projects relating to new products and/or industries, technologies, or services. Identifies business segment opportunities and determines the feasibility of product development. Performs economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities and/or business models and coordinates with internal departments in identifying/implementing business development projects. Works directly with potential customers to determine their needs. Develops and disseminates information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives. Pursues a broad base of new business opportunities in Multi-Spectral Simulation as applied to sensor development, test amp; evaluation, training, mission data re-programming and general sensor operational support. The incumbent will work closely with the technical staff and program managers to develop and implement capture strategies and support proposal development. Interface with customers in an effort to develop and/or grow new business. Applies strong interpersonal and communications skills, and work ethic towards ability to form market strategies leading to plan implementation and then execution to that plan.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business, plus ten (10) years of related experience with defense and security programs, military electronic warfare, sensors, or related fields. - Candidate must have demonstrated ability to discover, market, and secure and grow a diverse, multiple customer, high value contract portfolio. - Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications: - Masters Degree in Business or other relevant field. Specific experience in building business relationships with international and domestic electronic warfare test and training ranges and laboratories. - Knowledge and understanding of both domestic and international military is desirable. Current Secret clearance.
