Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Contract Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Sierra Vista, Arizona, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Clearfield, Utah, or San Diego, California.

The Contract Administrator will produce high quality Contract Management related products supporting the NGDS Autonomous Systems Q-4 Sustainment Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) programs. This position requires a strong background in DOD contracting, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player but also a strong independent contributor, will be proactive, will present leadership skills, will possess good analytical skills, will demonstrate problem-solving skills, and will be detail-oriented.

The Contract Administrator will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks. The Contract Administrator must possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal functional and program organizations, effectively deal with external customers, and meet the goals/objectives of the Q-4 Sustainment Team.

Responsibilities:

* Interfaces with customers and business partners, conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration
* Examines proposal requirements and estimates, prepares bids, analyzes terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
* Processes contractual documentation and reports, advises management of contractual rights and obligations, compiles and analyzes data, and maintains historical information
* Facilitates proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA or customer as required
* Prepares weekly and monthly reports and maintains the contracts databases
* Interacts daily with customer representatives
* Duties may also include the preparation of proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, export licenses/agreements, and various types of memoranda

Qualification

This position may be filled at either the Principal or Sr. Principal level.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Contract Administrator:

* Must have one of the following:
* Bachelor rsquo;s degree in business, finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of contract administration or supply chain experience
* Master rsquo;s degree in business, finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of contract administration or supply chain experience
* Prior working experience with FAR/DFARS and/or ITAR Export Licensing requirements
* Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
* Must be able to work on-site in one of the following locations:
* Sierra Vista, Arizona
* Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
* Clearfield, Utah
* San Diego, California
* Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Contract Administrator:

* Must have one of the following:
* Bachelor rsquo;s degree in business, finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of contract administration or supply chain experience
* Master rsquo;s degree in business, finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of contract administration or supply chain experience
* Prior working experience with FAR/DFARS and/or ITAR Export Licensing requirements
* Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
* Must be able to work on-site in one of the following locations:
* Sierra Vista, Arizona
* Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
* Clearfield, Utah
* San Diego, California
* Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Active DoD Secret security clearance
* Experience with Foreign Military Sale (FMS) contracting
* Experience with Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contracting
* Experience working with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint
