Lockheed Martin is seeking an RF Engineer for an exciting new role supporting our RF Tech Center in Orlando, FL.
Duties include:
- Developing RF System / Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment.
- Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test.
- Preparing test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
- Performing link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources.
- Developing and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements.
- Supporting Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.

The Locale: Orlando is a city in the Central Florida area. This region is a great place to live and to raise a family. Central Florida offers lots of attractive residential housing options. The Greater Orlando metropolitan area is the sixth largest metro area in the southeastern United States. The climate here is warm and sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida, and SeaWorld. Orlando is also home to the second largest University in the US, the University of Central Florida (UCF). Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the space coast to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in RF antenna design
- Experience in RF system architecture and design, RF circuits, digital and analog signal processing, and system simulation
- BSEE, MSEE, or PhD EE
- Must possess excellent presentation skills and technical writing skills
-Active Secret clearance with investigation within the last 5yrs
Desired Skills:
- Experience with electronic warfare, CST, HFSS
