Position Summary:

Assists Promo Planning Coordinator to plan and coordinate weekly promo and ad plan for GM categories across store formats and divisions. Coordinates across Buyer and Planner teams within GM organization to ensure planning of end-to-end promotions for GM categories for all divisions and store formats. Works with Division Promo Coordinators to coordinate key changes with Buyer, Planner, and Promo Planning teams. Essential Job Functions:

* Review weekly category plans, including financial projections and display plans.
* Assist in coordinating across Buyer and Planner teams, working jointly with Corporate Salesplanning and HBC/Non-Foods to ensure planning of end-to-end promotions and weekly ads for GM categories for all divisions and store formats.
* Provide guidance to Buying and Planning team in Division-specific planning process, and adjustments to plans.
* Works with Buyer and Planner teams to ensure category plans meet financial goals for enterprise and Division.
* Works with GM team to coordinate high-level strategy across divisions and translate strategy into tactical period plan.
* Assist in internal Division plan review and coordinating key changes back to Buying and Planning team.
* Assist in translation of enterprise strategy into tactical period plan for Department.
* Work with Buying and Planning teams within Department to allocate promo plan components within Department by Division.
* Supports total enterprise plan review before division review.
* Communicate with Division Promo Coordinators on plan performance and changes to plan.
* Assist in reviewing Department plan with Divisions as necessary.
* Assist in coordinating additional collateral and ad versioning to Category Managers.
* Prepare reports and analysis for weekly and period post-mortem reviews.
* Review Promo Plan written communication before distributing to Divisions.
* As necessary, communicate with Division Merchandising teams on promo plan.
* Communicate with replenishment and manufacturing on key changes to plan.
* Oversee and assist in generating reports for Division execution review.
* Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus two years of merchandising, store management or operations experience at a division or corporate level; or combination of relevant education and experience.
* Minimum 18 years of age
* Ability to pass drug test
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
* Strong organization/multi-tasking skills
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to travel independently
