New York Lifes primary distribution channel is the career Agency sales force of more than 12,000 agents, operating in virtually every major city in the United States. Every agent is affiliated with one of our 117 General Offices. These offices are operated by Agency management teams responsible for agent and management recruiting, development, and sales. Approximately half our agents operate their businesses out of our General Offices, while the other half maintains independent office locations.

Our General Offices are divided up among four Zones. In addition to our Zone offices, an Agency Home Office team responsible for strategy, finance, administration, standards, training, marketing and communications supports our agents and field managers. The Agency operation also comprises teams charged with growing our business in key market segments, including the middle-income market, the advanced (high-net-worth) market, select cultural markets, and the womens markets. Agents sell individual life insurance, individual annuities, and long-term care insurance products, as well as mutual funds.

Responsibilities

Our teams focus is to equip New York Life field managers with the tools to attract, develop and retain successful advisors. The role requires an appreciation for the impact our products and our salesforce have in local communities; and a sense of urgency that accompanies supporting a results-driven, sales organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing tactical support to drive short-term (quarterly/annual) company recruiting and sales goals that align with the long-term, strategic direction of the organization.

* Generate routine and ad-hoc activity reports to support recruiting, sales, and manpower

* Manage 3rd Party Vendor relationships

* Develop a content management process for all recruiting collateral and our internal website

* Develop presentations for events and meetings, including graphics, charts and analytic information

* Create turnkey processes for routine tasks and reports that support the business area

* Provide well-planned support to field managers

* Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to identify vital solutions that meet the expectations of the marketplace

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree preferred

* 5- 7 years of relevant experience

* Advanced level of expertise in Excel, Access & PowerPoint

* Strong analytical skills

* Ability to communicate data driven recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

* Ability to create compelling presentations for internal/external webinars and Senior Leaders

* Proficient at establishing priorities, working on multiple assignments simultaneously and meeting deadlines
