Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
* Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment.
* Shipping and receiving
* Logging equipment in and out
* Answering telephones
* Greeting and directing visitors
* Maintaining accurate ISO Quality records and files. Sort various receiving, shipping, billing and inventory control documents
* Assist with facility safety walkthrough and insure compliance to Safety/OSHA and iProtect policies and procedures. Prepare and submit iProtect monthly reports
* Collect and ship Electronic Waste and insure compliance to EPA regulations.
* Ordering and receiving repair parts inventory
* Creating and processing tech job tickets
* Billing
* Processing warranty claims
* Ordering and receiving shop supplies
* Contacting customers for equipment pickup, small parts and install quotes
* Providing administrative support to shop personnel
* Organizing, arranging, and coordinating meetings
* Data Entry
* Monitoring and maintaining office equipment; inventory supplies and order replacement supplies as needed
* Skilled in the use of time tracking, billing, inventory, and other specialized software suites used by the shop
* Learning and adhering to facility policies, safety protocols, and ISO procedures
Other Tasks:
* Responsible for accurate reporting in time tracking systems each week before the day/time determined by manager
* Responsible for processing all expense reports within the Motorola Solutions HR Guidelines
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
* Able to use a computer and familiar with common computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and internet browsers
* Able to work as a member of a team which includes individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences
* Good verbal and written communications skills
* Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
* Strong ability to multi-task
* Excellent organizational skills
* Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
* Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
* Required to follow safe work procedures when moving materials within the facility
* Able to lift and maneuver loads up to 50 pounds and use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks/lifts
* Electronics Technicians Association (ETA) Customer Service Specialist (CSS) certification or equivalent experience
*Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance as required by the government*
Basic Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in an administrative field, customer service or project coordinator experience
