We are looking for an energetic, customer-obsessed and tech-savvy Program Manager to help take our storage technologies to the next level. Job responsibilities will involve:
* Researching customer / partner scenarios and industry trends to formulate product requirements
* Analyzing and tracking storage performance characteristics and requirements
* Building product roadmap for bringing ideas to market
* Working across Microsoft teams to develop and launch product and platform innovations on schedule
* Driving customer success
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Strong technical background and analytical skills, with the ability to work directly with customers, partners and engineering teams.
* Passion for technology and platform performance
* Ability to identify new ways of looking at problems and identifying opportunities.
* Excellent collaboration, communication and coordination skills are a must for this role.
Creative problem solving skills with the ability to lead virtual teams through ambiguity and, of course, have a clear passion for product, partners and customers
Basic Qualifications:
* 3+ years of professional technical program or product management experience
* Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related discipline, or 4+ years of equivalent industry experience.
Preferred Qualification:
* Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
* Strong technical background and solid foundation in software engineering principles and architecture design
* Knowledge of on-premises storage systems or storage performance is a plus
* Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to lead and motivate a high-energy team
* Strong cross-team collaboration skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
