Would you like to make contributions to improve the foundational services of the Azure platform? If you're excited by these prospects, come join us to establish the next cloud frontier in Azure Edge & Platform!
We are a startup within Azure E & P working to expand the reach of Azure and to provide our customers with the familiar IaaS and PaaS experiences through our edge. To fulfill our mission, we will need to revisit many assumptions of how our services operate, from how we stand-up and manage hardware, to the connectivity of our fabric, and the security model used.
To deliver on our vision, we're looking for engineers who are excited about the prospect of learning and diving into different areas, who will bring clarity to our designs and can methodically bring a plan into action. This is a unique opportunity that will heighten your knowledge of distributed systems and will give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes-look into the inner workings of Azure. You will be part of a team that empowers individuals to make technical decisions and execute on them.
We're looking for motivated engineers who want to solve interesting problems and lead change across teams. As a v1 product, we welcome innovators who like to manage ambiguity and set direction as well as engineers who can refine our processes and bring predictability into our deliverables.
As a software engineer in our team, you will drive a feature area, collaborate with partner teams, and mentor junior engineers. You will be hands-on in the development process which includes writing and reviewing designs, writing and reviewing production code, and supporting our live services. This role will have a measurable impact on customer growth and satisfaction for one of the fastest growing businesses at Microsoft. We are looking for a senior software engineer, who thinks strategically, works pragmatically and with enthusiasm in a fast-moving environment with few guardrails.
