For every hour doctors spend with their patients, they spend two hours on process and clerical tasks. When they do meet with patients, they spend most of the time glued to their computer. We are a product team in Microsoft Healthcare that's co-developing an ambient intelligence product for the clinic with a strategic partner. Our technology will let doctors focus on what they do best: taking care of their patients.

On our team your contributions will impact Microsoft's healthcare technical and product strategy. You will work side-by-side with our data scientists and product managers to deliver innovative healthcare AI products and commercial solutions. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will:

* Leverage full-stack software engineering skills to deliver a better experience to health care professionals
* Build innovative proof of concepts across the Microsoft and partner ecosystems
* Design & Develop scalable ML engineering infrastructure to support the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle
* Expand our ML engineering infrastructure to support a team of data scientists across the full lifecycle of data acquisition, annotation, modeling, and deployment
* Collaborate closely with teams inside & outside Microsoft
* Bring your curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion to deliver on the promise of technology in a difficult, competitive, and exciting vertical

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent software development experience
* 3+ years of industry software development in one of the programming languages like C, Python, C/C++, or Java
* 3+ years of experience developing, deploying, and monitoring commercial cloud services
* Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy software in production as an individual contributor in an early-stage of product lifecycle

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience with Azure Machine Learning
* Experience with Azure services like Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Azure DevOps, Azure Databricks
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience building production data science pipelines
* Experience in Health technology
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
