Within EXP, the Customer Experience Engineering (CXE) team is focused on building a smooth customer engagement system, driving product improvements, and achieving high customer satisfaction. To help achieve these goals, CXE is seeking a mature professional to be a Principal Program manager to build listening systems to inform development decisions for our product offerings. The product offerings from Employee Experience will digitally transform onboarding, learning, employee profiles, diversity & inclusion, coaching & mentoring while respecting an employee's privacy.
The Principal PM will collaborate across various engineering, marketing and business stakeholders to build a customer engagement experience that leverages existing systems to deliver critical customer insights. This PM will obsess over the customer experience, while building deep relationships with internal partners. This role will require the ability to influence without authority and build rapport and trust across diverse engineering teams. This candidate will need to establish themselves as an expert voice of the customer and drive customer evangelism across internal stakeholders. Candidate attributes include strategic thinking, attitude of collaboration, customer empathy and obsession, a learning mindset, bias for action with flexibility, and generating energy across a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a scalable, efficient community experience for customers across Employee Experience products
Drive a consistent brand message within that community
Identify and Provide the right community access to diverse engineering teams
Build a robust location for insights collection accessible to EXP product engineering and stakeholders
Work across other CXE teams to ensure efficient development of the community
Translate customer feedback and data into prioritized engineering and marketing direction
Establish cross-product expertise to evangelize product and empathy with customers
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
8+ years of professional experience in program/product/marketing areas in large organizations
3+ years of building successful at-scale communities for informing product/service development
3+ years of experience driving quantitative and qualitative customer data or market research
Experience working with teams that deliver software products or services
Experience talking with various business decision makers to establish trust and evangelism
Preferred Qualifications:
Track record of working across diverse engineering teams to drive consensus and action
Experience delivering technical solutions to internal stakeholders
Ability to turn strategy into action
The ability to think creatively and critically about the best experience for the customer
Innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment
Strong project management, leadership and cross-group collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of an organization
Good problem-solving skills and ability to consider all facets of a problem
Deep customer empathy with negotiations and facilitation skills
