Job Description

The Azure Edge + Platform team is looking for a high-performing, action oriented and organized Business Administrator. The primary functions of the role are extensive team support with general administrative and cross-group projects, partner closely with the team business team to meet deliverables, and backup calendar support.

Key responsibilities:

* Ensure awareness and compliance with administrative operations policies and procedures
* Partner with support staff across the organization to ensure consistent experiences
* Coordinate catering, venue selection, and logistics for internal events, off sites, morale events, team all hands meetings, and celebration events
* Maintain relevant security groups and distribution lists
* Backup calendar support
* Order office supplies and equipment for team and new hires
* Headcount management and new employee onboarding
* Manage expense and budget reports for team and manager
* Space management and facilities requests
* Build and maintain good business relationships with partners and staff both internally and externally.
* Manage team compliance and training status
* Assist with other projects as requested by executive and business teams

Minimum Qualifications:

* 4+ years of relevant work experience in business administration

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree
* Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams meetings.
* Excellent skills in all aspects of planning, collaboration, communications, analytical capabilities, and high level of attention to detail and proactive awareness.
* Demonstrated skill of shifting approach in response to the demands of a changing situation
* Ability to deal with ambiguity, navigate uncertain situations, and drive for clarity
* Positive and impactful personality to join a fast paced and productive team
* Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
* Relationship-building skills, maturity, high degree of self-confidence
* Ability to prioritize multiple projects while problem-solving and following through on issues in a timely manner
