We are looking for a senior level design engineer to work in the dynamic Microsoft Silicon team, working on custom and semi-custom ASICs. You will be part of the Security IP design team, creating IP that is used to help secure the silicon across many market segments including the cloud and at the edge.

You will be responsible for all facets of design from working on architecture of features, microarchitecture of IP blocks, RTL design, and synthesis.
Throughout the program you will be interacting with various teams to leverage and collaborate.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience (must have one of the following):
Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field along with 5+ years technical engineering experience.
Or
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field along with 8+ years technical engineering experience.
Or
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field along with 12+ years technical engineering experience.
Or
15+ years technical engineering experience in ASIC design.
Additional Minimum Requirements
5+ years' experience working with Cryptography Standards e.g., AES, SHA, Elliptic Curve Cryptography.
5+ years' experience designing Cryptography RTL including Finite Field Math and Computer Arithmetic.
5+ years' experience with a proven track record of successful SoC or IP designs in complex ASICs in leading-edge technology.
5+ years' experience in digital design including specification development, CDC, LINT and RTL coding in Verilog/System Verilog.
0-5% Domestic/international travel combined.
Preferred Qualifications
Team player with good communication skills and a growth mind set.
Knowledge of Cryptography Certification Standards (e.g., NIST) is a plus.
Experience in mapping SW algorithms to HW with low power techniques is a plus.
Knowledgeable in one or more industry standard interfaces such as AMBA, PCIe, etc. protocols are a plus.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
