The Fluid Framework team mission is to build a collaborative platform that enables a new class of applications and experiences. We have been developing an Open-Source project as well as corresponding developer platform and we are looking for experienced Principal Software Engineers to join us on our mission.

As au202FPrincipalu202FSoftware Engineer on the Fluid Framework team, you will be responsible for key areas of our platform that enable developers to build highly collaborative experiences easily and reliably. You will be empowered to have end-to-end ownership for your areas including architecture, design, code, test, and telemetry coverage. You will partner deeply across disciplinesu202Fasu202Fwell as across teams to help deliver results that delight our customers. As a technical leader on the team, you will also be responsible for mentoring early in career engineers who have a wide range of skills and experiences.

Basic Qualifications:u202Fu202F

* 9+ years of experience in building and shipping production grade software or servicesu202Fu202F
* Bachelor or Masters' degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related fieldu202Fu202F
* Demonstrated experience in shipping high-quality products or servicesu202Facross multiple product lines.

* Demonstrated experience working on distributed systems and/or high-performance systemsu202Fu202F
* Strong cross-discipline and cross group collaboration skillsu202Fu202F
