SR Product Quality Manager, DRAM Cloud Computing

We ensure Microns products are of the highest quality, meeting, and exceeding customer expectations. Cloud computing is the fastest-growing market for DRAM products. We are seeking an experienced senior manager to lead Microns DRAM Cloud product quality and reliability execution and strategy.

Responsibilities

* Comprehend and assess Cloud customer challenges and how it relates to memory
* Establish internal and external partnerships driving to best in class Cloud quality and reliability
* Perform risk assessments and predict customer experience based on internal data and metrics
* Collaborate with Cloud enablers and Datacenter customers to innovate and improve the overall stability and performance of the cloud
* Drive Cloud product internal reliability methodology, monitors, metrics, and specifications
* Failure analysis as it pertains to the Cloud space and different DRAM architectures to improve correctability
* Analyze and debug performance and ECC issues from customer telemetry data
* Drive resolution of Cloud product quality events and escalations
* Serve as a Cloud technical expert within Global Quality
* Advise senior and executive management in relation to Cloud strategic decisions and escalations
* Communicate issues and corrective actions to cross-functional teams and upper management

Qualifications and Skills include

The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple areas below:

* 10+ years of combined experience in computer architecture, cloud computing, system compatibility, and semiconductor memory
* Knowledge of DRAM operation
* Strong experience performing system-level debug
* Understanding of how DRAM memory is used in systems and end-customer solutions
* Good Understanding of Device Physics, DRAM Reliability, CMOS
* Experience with AMD, Intel, or ARM processor architectures
* Experience with ECC hamming codes
* Have a specific understanding of different ECC implementations, the pros and cons of those different implementations, and an understanding of what types of errors are correctable, uncorrectable, and undetectable
* Understanding of Datacenter infrastructure including bare metal, virtual machines, and other cloud implementations
* Knowledge of system RAS techniques including different types of hamming codes utilized for ECC on an x72 bit DRAM bus
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects at same time
* Quality and Reliability experience is a plus
* Excellent verbal, written, and customer communications skills
* Highly effective, strong collaboration and teamwork skills
* Excellent analytical, analysis, and problem-solving skills

Education

* Master of Science in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science or equivalent required
