As a Client SSD Product Manager in the Storage Business Unit, this individual will be a critical part of a dynamic team responsible for growing the value of the Client SSD Market product line and delivering business results.You will be accountable for the product lifecycle, including product Stage Gate management. Your breath of influence will include product planning, strategy and marketing. This includes partnering with Product Marketing on the development of go-to-market plans and activities for specific products or product lines. Be able to handle all issues and customer partner concerns related to your product portfolio during its planning and development stages. You will also establish, improve, and distinguish product placement within a driven arena in order to improve sales. In this leadership role you will work with Sales team to capture market and customer needs, build product requirements, own quarterly product demand and deliver the best product plans to enable Microns cross-functional teams to develop leadership products, win designs and grow the business.
Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Maintaining clear and timely communication around the health, priorities, and trade-offs of the product line, across all levels of the Micron organization to drive outstanding execution over the lifecycle of our products from development to end-of-life
* Representing the Voice of the Customer, market requirements and Sales needs as it relates to your respective product of ownership
* Sales and Channel enablement and training, including support with key customer presentations and events
* Crafting & maintaining market-focused GTM plans that clearly communicate product positioning, enablement plans, profitable ramps, and underlying priorities
* Drive product quarterly revenue, margin and unit planning and management, providing inputs to product pricing models and pricing strategies
* Crafting & maintaining customer-facing product collateral, messaging and marketing tools
* Work with internal partners to analyze market, competition as well as sales, and customer data to contribute to product plans and product strategies
* Leading key initiatives that focus on cross-group, specific customer or business challenges and contribute to developing processes within the Product Management team and partner organizations that are customer-centric and passionate about outstanding execution.
Qualifications and Skills include, but not limited to:
* 8+ years of relevant Storage marketing and product planning experience
* Bachelors or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
* Preferred, hands on Client SSD Marketing and Planning experience, NAND and OEM Marketing experience is a plus
* Proven track record to grasp sophisticated product, financial, technical, and marketing information to develop product plans and strategies
* Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
* Strong communication and presentation abilities to customers as well as internal partners including to senior management
* Demonstrated eye for business and critical thinking skills
* Experience leading cross-functional teams and working across multiple locations
* Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
