Job Description
Partner with colleagues and business leaders to optimize output while minimizing delays. Work within company compliance and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines while staying abreast of internal and external business challenges. Oversee and/or participate with special projects to positively impact production results.
Other duties as assigned, some of which may include:
Key Job Duties:
* Develop detailed material delivery schedules to support production.
* Implement timely schedule adjustments based on changes in demand
* Track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics versus established targets
* Communicate effectively with customers and decision makers regarding supply status and potential risks
* Ensure the accuracy of Systems Applications and Products (SAP) system generated production plans
* Contribute to business improvements through timely project implementations
* Support annual planning process for designated materials/products
Education Minimum Requirement:
* BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* 3-5 years relevant experience working in a manufacturing production environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems/concepts, preferably SAP
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
* Customer focused (internal and external) in a dynamic environment
* Focused on collaboration with a constructive and proactive attitude
* Strong computer skills to include excel
* Comprehend and follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
* Ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a problem solver and a enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently.
* Motivated, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Production planning and/or inventory management experience preferred
