Job Title

Senior Software Engineer - Go Lang

Responsibilities
Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code in Go Lang.
Translating software requirements into stable, working, high performance software
Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient micro service distributed architecture
Be part of a team that owns all phases of the product development life cycle, from conception to delivery to customers, including support/operation if required.
Build quality and security directly into the product, by taking advantage of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams across the world, mentor, share information with and learn from other engineers and help drive continuous improvement of our platform, without losing focus on the flow that generates customers value.
Bring an inquisitive, innovative & collegiate attitude to problem solving.

Qualifications:
Have a 4-year college degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
Have Professional enterprise development experience
Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns
Comfortable working in a TDD & CI/CD environment
Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) Operating system is strongly preferred.
Experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools, including:
Dependency management tools such as Godep, Sltr, etc.
Gos templating language
Gos code generation tools, such as Stringer
Popular Go web frameworks, such as Revel
Router packages, such as Gorilla Mux
Ability to write clean and effective Godoc comments
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN etc
