POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of servicesfrom inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement
Review deployment documents and quality metrics for releases
Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews
Manage Release Dates Create the Release Calendar for the year, including milestones (Stage windows, MTF windows, Freeze Dates, PROD Dates, etc.)
Remedy Management
o Change ticket management
o Change ticket template creation
Impact of releases Feature Review Meeting, Production Readiness Meetings, Pre-Release Executive Summary, Executive Summary, Post Mortem Meetings
Analyze release activities of the platform and provide a feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns
Risk Management for code drops
Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating
Coordinate releases with other Mastercard teams
Maintain release notes
Maintain services once they are in production by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity
All about you
Bachelor's degree
IT project or release management experience
Hands on Experience with Agile, SAFe, Scrum, and related methodologies
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and Agile related tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
