JOB SUMMARY

* Prepare and tints paint and performs a quality check prior to release

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Retrieve paint bases from warehouses and select formulas from computer or formula book.
* Provide print color name by using computer.
* Dispense colorant into can.
* Check for color accuracy after mixing the paint in the shaker for three minutes or longer.
* Maintain completed products on pallet and use rider jack to transport materials.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION

* Some experience involving production operations or the use of basic equipment is required
* High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

* Ability to select proper bases and formulas to mix and tint paints Ability to operate paint dispensers, tint machine and mixer Ability to lift and stack processed paints on mixing trays and storage pallets Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers Ability to read and follow work orders Ability to maintain work area

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to operate rider jack
