Responsibilities:
* Perform all stablish safe working procedures
* Perform Style Changes according to specifications
* Perform Quality audits on carpet for lines, loops, crossed or missing ends
* Monitor Tufting Machines for correct stitch, Pile height,Width, Tickets and Backing
* Monitor Weight Variance Reports every 2 hours
* Verify Meters for accuracy utilizing the TDAS system
* Maintain and Monitor Dye Header Reports
* Work in Wet Lab as needed
* Housekeeping: Keep Assigned Area Clean and organized
* Other duties that may arise in Quality Assurance in order to keep department running
* Maintain Machine Set-up specifications in AS400
* Enter physical properties in the AS400 (with the addition of the texture rating)
* Evaluate and Maintain finished standards for pattern goods
* Monitor spec book for yamaguchi
Qualifications
* Ability to work in a hot and wet environment
* Maintain an orderly work environment
* Must be able to pass color test for carpet colors and defects
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
* Ability to do reading, writing and math comprehension
* Follow all established safe working procedures
* Good verbal, written communication, organizational skills
* Must be an effective team member with problem-solving capabilities
* Proficient using department specific software, hardware and equipment
