Role Value Proposition:
The People Analytics & Workforce Planning Lead Data Scientist is a part of the People Planning & Insights team within Global Human Resources. This role will perform and manage basic to complex research, predictive modeling, data/text mining, and people analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a people analytics playbook to include standard analyses and tools
* Research to stay current with new technologies and techniques such as organizational network analysis, calendar analytics, etc. with a goal of informing decisions that increase efficiency, empowerment and engagement across the workforce
* Develop predictive models for attrition risk, candidate best fit, performance, etc.
* Advanced survey and text analytics to correlate employee survey results to business outcomes and workforce changes, inclusive of natural language processing
* Research workforce topics and trends, validating with internal and external data sources
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
* Ability to conduct highly complex analyses and to incorporate data from multiple sources to identify insights and trends. Must be able to tell a compelling story with data.
* Ability to build relationships with partner teams, frame and structure questions, and summarize and present key insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing on experimental data to validate and quantify trends or patterns identified by business
* Develop a deep understanding of available data to drive ad-hoc analysis and answer questions
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Naturally curious and eager to assume responsibility and demonstrate initiative.
* Python, R or other applicable coding language
* 5+ years demonstrated work experience working in an analytical role
* Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (I/O Psych, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
Preferred:
* Experience with HR principals, procedures and data sets
* Prior roles in People Analytics
Travel
This is a global team with expectation to occasionally travel and conduct meetings outside of normal business hours when necessary
