Role Value Proposition:

Global Technology & Operations (GTO) includes over 17,000 associates across 42 countries Service our customers in operations and global customer call centers where we deliver global support services, including global real estate, global corporate security, and global innovation. This role, for a Contracts Analyst II, will provide consultative service to all partners/customers by researching and answering complex contract compliance and process questions with Product Teams, Contract Development and Legal while providing plan alternatives where there may be legal or contract compliance issues, updates or changes in insurance laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* New business, plan changes and installs.
* Maintains strong relationships with Implementation, Service, Plan Master, Legal, Compliance, Products and other internal partners as well as with external customers by delivering extraordinary customer service.
* Generates accurate contract documents for more complex product structures that meet or exceed customer requirements, MetLife business objectives and ensure contract compliance with applicable federal and state legislation.
* Maintains adequate file documentation according to set procedures.
* Leads or plays an active role in cross-team projects or activities that improve business process and operations.
* Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

* High School diploma
* Competent level of contract knowledge and technical writing skills.
* 5+ yrs. related experience

Preferred:

* Bachelors degree
* 7+ yrs. related experience
* Familiar with insurance laws and regulations pertaining to policy and filing procedures with compliant contracts.
* Strong customer satisfaction focus.
