Creative Director

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a multi-talented Creative Director to join our fast-growing in-house Global Customer Experience team. The candidate should have a track record of leading a cross-functional team in creating engaging content, have a keen eye for design, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and brand marketing acumen. This individual should be a strategic thinker and problem solver who works closely with digital, brand, product and sales teams. The candidate must have a firm understanding of the creative process from big idea conceptual development through to production for all projects.

Job Specifications:

The primary focus of this position is to lead a cross-functional team of creatives and set direction for B2C and B2B content in support of brand(s) from concept through to production following brand style guides along the way. Project types include campaign development, video, photography, sales materials, ecommerce, and omni-channel marketing activation including website, email, social, search and media. You will work in a hybrid model of agency/in-house content development. The right candidate will be a self-starter who is able to take the initiative and manage their teams projects working with other global Studio team members to achieve the best possible results.

* Proficient in managing production budgets.
* Able to collaborate with a fast-paced global marketing team.

* Has a strong understanding of the production processes.
* Is able to present a portfolio of work showcasing your ability to lead a team producing award winning creative featuring in-store and online omni-channel marketing activation.
* Has a clear understanding on new creative technology and marketing innovation.

Education and Technical Requirements:

* 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
* 10+ years of creative experience with an advertising agency, in-house marketing team, post-production house, or PR/digital marketing agency.
* Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, proficient in all applicable software.
* A portfolio with relevant work experience and examples required with resume.
* Exceptional power point skills.
