Responsible for the maintenance and adjustment of the offline, auxiliary bindery/finishing equipment and components. Perform routine, scheduled maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, replacement of worn parts, adjusting belt tension, knife grinding, etc. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and submit orders for part as needed to ensure continuous operation of equipment.
General knowledge of small/light equipment and machines and the mechanical operation of equipment. Requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical functioning of machinery serviced and ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and identify worn out parts. Ability to understand electrical and mechanical schematics. Ability to interpret instruction manuals. Good knowledge of the tools and test equipment used in the diagnosis and repair of equipment serviced.
