Position includes mail matching using a 2D barcode scanner and hand folding of digital printed materials to insert into matching envelopes. May operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment such as a Rosback stitcher, 2D barcode scanner and other equipment as required. May set up and adjust small machines and equipment for production runs. Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation. May troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed.
Requires familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following a few step by step instructions and the skill to operate the equipment. Requires skill to perform minor clerical tasks incidental to the operation of the equipment (e.g., maintain machine operating and maintenance records, write new identification labels for computer tapes, etc.), and skill to perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating the equipment. Ability to identify if improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.
Required Skills
Requires keen quality control skills and attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoots problems to maintain quality standards and to keep equipment in running condition and request maintenance as required.
Required Experience
* Previous experience in the operation of at least one piece of bindery equipment is preferred.
* Must be able to work in a team environment.
* Must be able to work any shift.
* Must be able to work overtime when required.
* Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently during the shift.
