Surgery Scheduler

The Surgery Scheduler is accountable for Coordinating and scheduling all surgical and cath lab cases faxed from the surgeons offices. Communicating needed equipment and supplies for a procedure to the CS Dept. Printing the following surgical day Pick-sheets for CS. Coordinating the Anesthesia coverage for the following surgical day. Working with the Surgery Clinical Coordinator to insure no conflicts with equipment or surgeons and that the surgery times are adequate for the surgery scheduled.

Requirements:

* Medical terminology and or anatomy understanding
* Computer and typing skills
* Great customer service
* Must be a delf-starter and self-motivator
* Previous scheduling experience a plus
