About the role:
Provide vision and leadership as a project manager for approved project(s) from the UroPH Project Management Organization. These projects vary in size and scope but may include supporting business process improvements, acquisitions/divestitures, quality/regulation driven project work, technology development, new product development as well as driving strategic and transformational changes that are needed at BSC. These projects often have a relatively high level of complexity and visibility throughout the organization. The project manager will be responsible for leading diverse, cross-functional team(s) of company professionals to evaluate, design, build, and implement solutions to support the project goals. The project manager will engage with various stakeholders and work collaboratively across functions, regions, and business units to develop the individual project strategies and secure necessary resources to deliver project results.
Your responsibilities include:
* Initiate, plan, execute, and monitor activities required for timely completion of project objectives.
* Effectively manage project team(s) ensuring good cross-functional communication. Provide feedback to functional managers on team and team member performance.
* Ensure current BSC Quality System policies/practices and documentation requirements are met.
* Generate plans and communications to assist with task prioritization and workload adjustments.
* Identify resources (people and $$) required for project and develop and maintain project budgets.
* Assess project risks and implement risk response activities to effectively manage uncertainties.
* Delegate/manage tasks among team members to drive execution of project deliverables and minimize risk.
* Effectively communicate project status through all levels of management.
* Lead phase and business reviews, document meeting minutes, issues log, decision logs, metrics, and other key communications.
What were looking for:
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering and 7+ years of technical work experience in product development OR
* Masters Degree in Science or Engineering and 5+ years of technical work experience in product development.
* Demonstrated leadership of cross functional teams and project management experience managing the full project lifecycle.
* Fluency using project management tools (e.g. MS Project, SharePoint, Outlook, Risk Register, Resource & Budget Planning, Visual Management, etc.).
* Strong organization and execution skills including demonstrated ability to confidently own responsibility for project completion.
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills, including presentations to internal executive teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the medical products industry a plus.
* PMP certification desired
* Ability to travel up to 15/% including some international travel (post COVID).
