About This Role:
Performs investigations into the failure or alleged failure of product. Performs returned product analysis laboratory functions involving the testing, troubleshooting of mechanical or electromechanical materials, devices, assemblies, subassemblies, systems and products.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Performs a variety of duties in the electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, chemical, or optical areas.
* Builds or assembles prototype materials, components, subassemblies and assemblies.
* Constructs, operates, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, maintains and tests equipment, systems or products.
* Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
* Performs tests, analyzes data and writes reports
* Reviews or develops processing or manufacturing instructions.
* Maintains detailed documentation through all phases of development, testing and analysis.
* May assist in the transfer of technology and/or contribute in cross-functional discussions regarding device performance allegations.
What Were Looking For In You:
Minimum Qualifications
* AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience
* Knowledge in the use of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscope, digital volt meter, function generator, high voltage sources, etc.
* Excellent documentation skills
* Knowledge of electronic principles and ability to read and comprehend work instructions, schematics and design documentation
* Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in Laboratory setting
* Experience Troubleshooting electronic component issues
* Previous experience working with medical products in a regulated environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft desktop environment: Windows, Word and Outlook
