RF/Electrical Systems Engineer

The Challenge:

What if you could use your engineering skills to transform the Air Forces ability to perform Radio Frequency (RF) and electrical systems engineering? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to developing Directed Energy systems. Were looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to move cutting edge technology from the lab to the field.

Our team is performing Directed Energy research and development. Thats why we need you, an electrical engineer with hardware and software expertise to help us design and develop directed energy technology. Youll design and test electrical system architectures, perform trade studies and analysis to predict performance and optimize designs, write code that fires lasers, and take new technologies from the whiteboard to the test range. Well look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in power systems, lasers, controls, and prototype development. You Have:

* 3+ years of experience with cyber and military communications
* 3+ years of experience with embedded hardware, software, and firmware suite, including multi-function RF systems and firmware version control
* Experience with controls and software development
* Ability to simulate RF performance in complex scenarios and quantify the error
* TS/SCI clearance
* BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

* Experience with rapid prototyping for hardware applications
* Experience with leading tasks or teams in electrical engineering initiatives
* Experience with C and Visual Studio
* Experience with Directed Energy
